Post Cards From The Edge

The crew of the USS Oklahoma City returned to a warm welcome home to Norfolk, VA in early November.

After six months away, the LA Class fast-attack submarine and its crew of 110 sailors came home to Norfolk. While away, they conducted classified missions in the Persian Gulf in support of the global War on Terror.

The crew also did some important public relations work, serving as ambassadors for the Navy during port visits to Spain, Bahrain, Jebel Ali, United Arab Emirates, Diego Garcia, Crete, Greece and France. The Association congratulates the crew for a successful deployment. Well Done!
